I work with painting, sculpture, and stop motion.  I work figuratively, drawing from my own life and the people around me. Through my work, I explore questions of power, identity, gender roles and resistance.

My style is playful and colorful, often mixing humor with seriousness. I’m interested in challenging how we see social norms and expectations, and in using art as a way to better understand the structures that shape our everyday lives. Each work is a response to both the visible and hidden sides of society.

Sometimes I show personal experiences in a direct and honest way. Other times, I create alternative worlds where fictional and real characters are given new stories—and space to resist rules and norms that are usually taken for granted.
